On Wednesday 2 August petrol and diesel prices are set to increase as per the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE).

According to reports by IOL, fuel prices are expected to hike as follows:
Petrol will increase by 37c per litre and diesel will climb up to 71c (50ppm) and 72c (500ppm).
Motorists along the coast can expect to pay R22.11 per litre of 95 Unleaded petrol and inland drivers will pay R22, 83 with 93 Unleaded going at R22.43 per litre.
50ppm diesel will hike up to R19.82 at wholesale price along coastal regions and R20.53 inland. However, retail prices may vary according to outlets, you will pay more.
