Springbok flyhalf Manie Libbok and long-term partner, Verna-Lee, tied the knot with a Mossel Bay wedding in early October. The newly-wed bride recently took to social media to share their wedding photographs.

The couple, who are high school sweethearts, tied the knot at Seeplaas – a Garden Route route venue nestled between George and Mossel Bay – on October 5, 2024.
In an Instagram post, Verna-Lee wrote “05-10-2024, the best day of our lives,” accompanied by multiple images of the happy couple sporting their wedding bands.

The couple became engaged in July 2023, when Libbok whipped up a romantic proposal on a picnic at Klein Roosboom Boutique Winery in Cape Town.
The pair reportedly first met in high school in George, and became high school sweethearts. According to social media posts made by the couple, the pair will be celebrating eight years together in 2024, the year of their marriage.
