SA’s UFC Middleweight champion Dricus du Plessis chose the special occasion of his 31st birthday bash to propose to his now fiancée, Vasti Spiller.
The MMA champion celebrated his 31st birthday on 14 January, which ended in a celebration of love, as Du Plessis dropped to one knee to ask his girlfriend of one-and-a-half-years, Vasti Spiller, for her hand in marriage.
A guest in attendance of the birthday bash-turned-proposal captured the special moment on video, which was later posted to Instagram by the future Mrs Du Pkessis herself. “No longer two, but one…” she wrote.

Spiller, du Plessis’ biggest supporter, has followed her beau around the world as he claimed two consecutive UFC Middleweight Champion Belts and International Fighter of the Year in 2024.
