How to fold a bunny napkin for Easter hosting

Easter is almost upon us and adding a bunny-shaped napkin to your Easter table is a simple yet festive touch that will delight your guests.

With just a few folds, you can transform an ordinary napkin into an adorable bunny, perfect for a charming Easter tablescape.

What you’ll need:

• Cotton or linen napkin (well-starched for structure)
• Large paper napkin (as an alternative, but fold gently)
• Ribbon (optional) for dressing up

How to fold a bunny napkin:

1. Make a rectangle: Fold the napkin into thirds lengthwise to create a long rectangle. If using a square napkin, first fold it in half, then fold it in half again to achieve the rectangular shape.
2. Create a center line: Fold the napkin in half to form a crease, then unfold it to use as a guide.
3. Shape the ears – Fold the top corners down along the center crease to create a triangle at the top.
4. Fold up the bottom corners – Bring the bottom corners upward, aligning them with the center.
5. Form the bunny face – Fold the left and right edges inward so they meet at the center line.
6. Flip and secure – Turn the napkin over and fold the bottom point upward. Then, tuck one end into the other to hold the shape. Gently pull apart the bunny ears and adjust the base so the napkin can stand upright.

Hosting tip:

Prep your bunny napkins the night before so they’re ready to go when guests arrive. Place one on each plate for a festive finishing touch.
