Johannesburg connoisseurs and malt lovers are in for a treat; The Kaya fm Wine & Malt Whisky festival kicks off tomorrow night.
Themed from the winelands to the highlands the festival will showcase over 20 of South Africa’s premier wineries alongside top malt whiskies at the Firs in Rosebank on Thursday 28 May and Friday 29 May from 18:00 to 21:00.
In addition to sampling of fine wines and malts, guests can take part in master classes in Whisky and Wine where expert winemakers will give unique insights of the grape and the grain at a nominal fee.
Tickets are available at R180 per person which includes unlimited wine & whisky tasting, selection of gourmet cheese, antipasti deli and artisanal breads. For a premium experience at a cost of R200 you will get unlimited wine & whisky tasting, selection of gourmet cheese, antipasti deli and artisanal breads and a seat at either a Wine (OR) Whisky Master Class.
