Three days of indulgence for oenophiles
The 11th annual Pinotage On Tap Festival took place in Joburg at the picturesque Val Bonne Country Estate on 29 August; the next instalment takes place in Durban’s much-loved rustic venue in Salt Rock, The Litchi Orchard, on 19 September. Sample the very best pino around (it’ll be on tap!),enjoy paired food and live music, then take a stroll on Salt Rock’s breathtaking beach, just a five-minute drive away.
If you really want to experience the best of the festival, catch the grand finale at Diemersfontein Wine & Country Estate in Wellington, just 70km from Cape Town, on 10 October (which, incidentally, is also International Pinotage Day).
