Plan ahead – Take five minutes in the evening, once the kids are asleep, to lay out your outfit. Even better, plan your whole week’s outfits on the weekend for five less stressful mornings!
Shop smart – When you’re clothes shopping, buy items you know will fit in with your general colour scheme so that you can mix and match easily.
Accessorise – It’s amazing how one scarf or a statement necklace can change your whole look. Invest in new accessories each season to update your existing clothes.
Look for inspiration – If you have a few moments to spare, browse your favourite mag, Pinterest or Instagram for style ideas, especially the “one outfit, three different ways” features.
Get tech-savvy – There are loads of fashion apps out there that act as digital style assistants to help you organise and categorise your wardrobe. The apps allow you to photograph all your clothing, tag them based on colour and to plan outfits with built-in calendars. We love Closet+ and Cloth.
