Adele’s album, 25, hit stores on the 20th of November. The much-anticipated third album from the soulful songstress includes her gorgeous hit song, Hello, which has been top of the charts for weeks, and is the most played song on SA radio.
One of the album’s songs, When We Were Young, was co-written by Canadian singer/songwriter Tobias Jesso Jr. Adele has told numerous sources that the ballad is her favourite from the album.
Fans have been sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for Adele’s next offering, which she’s said to have worked on for the last four years – since her second album, 21,was released and broke records for being the century’s biggest selling album.
‘I obviously want people to like it,’ she says, describing Hello as ‘very intimate’ and ‘very conversational’. ‘Because of my last album, because of what it went on to do, it was kind of a write-off to ever expect anything with this album, the new one, like that. So actually it made it a bit easier to release.”
