While Netflix and the like make watching movies at home incredibly convenient, there’s still a certain charm that comes with seeing movies on the big screen.
Here are the top three movies we’re dying to see when they finally hit our screens.
X-Men: Apocalypse
The first mutant, Apocalypse, has been worshiped as a god since the damn of time. He’s powerful, immortal and invincible. But to borrow from another comic book franchise, with great power comes great responsibility, and after awakening after thousands of years this mutant isn’t in the mood to be responsible. He gathers up a group of mutants to cleanse mankind and create a new world order. So it’s mutant against mutant in a race to save humankind.

Alice: Through The Looking Glass
Johnny Depp’s Mad Hatter is in trouble, so it’s time to return to the zany mind of Lewis Carroll for yet another adventure. The movie stars Anne Hathaway as well as everyone’s favourite oddball, Helena Bonham Carter. Sacha Baron Cohen also has a role in the movie. With so many big names, it’s bound to be a hit.

The Angry Birds Movie
The promos for this one promise to let us know why these popular game characters are so angry. The story centres around Red, a bird with a temper problem, Chuck, and volatile Bomb, who have always been outsiders on an island filled with cheerful birds. But when their hometown is visited by mysterious green piggies, it’s up to these unlikely outcasts to save the day. Listen out for the voices of Jason Sudeikis and Peter Dinklage.
