Singer Ed Sheeren is being sued for $20 million by a pair of songwriters who claim his hit Photograph is a copy.
According to Rolling Stone, Martin Harrington and Thomas Leonard claim that Photograph is a “note-for-note” plagiarism of a song by 2012 X Factor winner Matt Cardle.
The pair are being represented by Richard Busch, the lawyer who represented Marvin Gaye’s family in the suit against Robin Thicke and Pharrell William over Blurred Lines.
Robin and Pharrell had to cough up $7.4 million after a judge found that the song was a bit too similar to Marvin Gaye’s Got To Give It Up.
