Miss South Africa, Ndavi Nokeri, made it all the way to the top 16 in the 71st Miss Universe pageant in New Orleans earlier this week, making SA proud. The 24-year-old competed with 84 other women in the pageant and was named as one of the runners-up to win.
The Miss South Africa pageant then took to social media to congratulate Ndavi for her top 16 rank:

The winner of the 71st Miss Universe pageant this year was 28-year-old Miss USA, R’Bonney Gabriel. Miss Dominican Republic, Andreina Martinez came second as runner up along with Miss Venezuela, Amanda Dudamel.
