From reality star and business mogul turned lawyer and now guest lecturer—Kim Kardashian checked another box on her bucket list after she delivered a lecture at the prestigious Harvard Business School in Boston recently.
Kardashian and her SKIMS co-founder, Jens Grede, made an unexpected appearance at Harvard Business School to speak about their billion-dollar business success at the college’s program titled: “Moving Beyond Direct-to-Consumer”.
Taking to social media, Kim said: “I spoke At Harvard Business School yesterday for a class called HBS Moving Beyond DTC. The class’s assignment was to learn about SKIMS so my partner Jens and I spoke about our marketing, our challenges and our greatest wins. I’m so proud of Skims and the thought that it is a course being studied at Harvard is just crazy!!! Thank you professor Len Schlesinger and @harvardhbs for having us. #BucketListDream.”

The Lecture Assignment
The students were there to learn about the multi-billion dollar SKIMS brand and some of their marketing strategies. Kardashian said: “The class assignment was to learn about SKIMS so my partner Jens and I spoke about our marketing, our challenges and our greatest wins.”
She added with pride that SKIMS became a case study at the prestigious business school. She called giving a business lecture there a “bucket list dream.”
Business Attire
For this esteemed honour, Kardashian entered the lecture hall in full business professional attire. A black pin-stripe pantsuit with pointy-toe booties and a Prada leather trench coat was the look for class.
Although the online trolls questioned the validity of this lecture, the students were left with a good impression of the businesswoman, said to have found the surprise very inspiring.
One student reported that “just to learn from someone who has built such a successful business was really exciting and I think having the privacy of no cameras in the room, being able to have that candid conversation was special too.”
