As these chairs had a lot of intricate detail, they were spray-painted by a contractor to give a smooth, even finish, but if you’re handy with a paintbrush you can do it yourself.

To give your patio a more furnished look, make a feature walls. Use a table or cabinet as a base, arrange pictures above it making sure they’re in proportion to the piece of furniture below and then accessorise with items in complementary colours and textures.
