If you haven’t heard about the engagement of Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle yet, where have you been!
Do you what Joan Collins’ R63 beauty secret is?
With photos of their engagement all over the news, we are dying to know how exactly she keeps her skin looking radiant and her hair voluminous.
On Nails:
The actress chose to keep her nails short and tidy and, according to a Brit + Co online article, Meghan chose to wear Essie Ballet Slippers, R139,95 for 13,5ml on her fingertips at their first official engagement photo op.
This was in line with royal nail colour trends, as this shade has been donned by the Queen since 1989!
In a 2013 interview with Birchbox, the Suit’s actress revealed the following about her beauty regime:
On hair:
A fabulous and super simple tip to tame flyaways; spray a little bit of hairspray onto an old toothbrush and brush stray hairs down. The hairspray will help them stay put all day.
A great option is Gosh hold Me Baby! Hairspray, R135 for 300ml.
Meghan’s tip for putting extra volume into her hair? A hair flip and if needed, some Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray, R805 for 300ml.
On foundation:
Go soft on foundation- only apply where you need it and use a beauty blender, R405 to lightly tap it in; allowing your freckles or beauty spots to still peak through.
Meghan also swears by incorporating facial exercises into her beauty routine, stating that, “On the days I do it, my cheekbones and jawline are waaaay more sculpted.”
On eyes:
Make your eyes pop with a little cleverly placed, brightening concealer. Meghan’s choice: Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat Radiant Touch Concealer, R600.
