2A: Fine, loose waves.
2B: More defined waves that tend to form an ‘S’ shape.
2C: Waves that are closer to curls, often with more volume and texture.
Curly hair type 3
Curly hair is characterised by well-defined, spiral-shaped curls and can also be further divided into three categories:
3A: Large, loose curls.
3B: Springy ringlets with more volume.
3C: Tight corkscrew curls that can vary in size.
Coily hair type 4
Coily hair consists of tight, densely packed curls or coils, further dividing into three categories:
4A: Defined curls with an “S” pattern.
4B: Z-shaped coils that may not have a distinct curl pattern.
4C: Crimpy coils with minimal definition but stunning texture.
