The 2024 Oscars aired last night, and, as always, was filled with some incredible TV moments. But, of course, all the red carpet looks were jaw-droopingly incredible. This year Hollywood’s greatest stars oozes elegance and class – there’s really no other way to describe it. And, to be honest, we were treated to some of the best looks out of the entire 2024 awards season.

Let’s take a look at the best-dressed stars from the 96th annual Oscars. Prepare to be amazed…
Zendaya
If there’s one actress that slays every red carpet-event, it’s Zendaya. The Euphoria star graced the red carpet in a figure-hugging metallic silver and pink patterned Armani Privé gown. It’s simple, yet striking, and befits the actress who’ll star in what many are calling the “biggest movie in the world.” Paired with classic drop earrings and a chic, swept hairstyle, Zendaya gives off a classy, old-Hollywood vibe that we absolutely love.
Margot Robbie
The Barbie star has packed away the pink gowns and pulled out a show-stopping black Versace gown. While we’ll silently weep for the end of the Barbie era, we can basque in the sophistication that Robbie will surely bring in future red carpet events, with this year’s look starting that off with a
Lupita Nyong’o
If there’s anything you can count on when it comes to Lupita Nyong’o, it’s a killer on-screen performance and a phenomenal red-carpet look. While she presented the Best Supporting Actress award, she stole everyone’s gaze in her stunning blue Armani Privè gown. If you were around 10 years ago, this sparkling ensemble is a callback to the blue Prada gown she wore to the Oscars in 2014.
Vanessa Hudgens
Vanessa Hudgens always looks incredible, and it was not surprising that she turned heads in a figure-hugging turtleneck Vera Wang evening gown. But, it wasn’t just her classy dress that caught everyone’s attention. She took her shining moment to debut her baby bump! She topped off her stunning look with simple (but gorgeous) Chopard diamonds.
Olivia Munn
When the words classy and elegant cross my mind, so does Olivia Munn. The X-Men: Apocalypse actress wowed in a gold halter-neck Fendi dress. It gave off some serious Bond-girl vibes with its low back and extra-long train.
While she couldn’t sit in the dress, she still caused several jawdrops when she waltzed onto the red carpet.

Maitreyi Ramakrishnan
Never have I ever loved an Oscar’s look this much (except Olivia Munn’s look). Maitreyi Ramakrishnan shed the quirky style of her Never Have I Ever character, Devi, and donned a stunning Zuhair Murad gown. The black gown with the white scooped neckline, is reminiscent of a few other awards shows from the past few months, but Ramakrishnan pulls it off perfectly.
The entire look is complete with strappy heels and understated diamond jewelry from Zuhair Murad.
Leah Lewis
Leah Lewis made jaws drop in an ethereal pale pink gown by Lever Couture. While a shift away from the more traditional gowns on this list, Lewis maintains an air of elegance in an asymmetrical dress, which featured a high slit and streams of pink fabric. Altogether with understated jewellery and clear heels, Lewis looked like she floated across the red carpet.
Hailee Steinfeld
Hailee Steinfeld manages to take a relatively odd gown and make it look incredible. The airy light blue skirt and dramatic gold accents are clear features of Elie Saab Couture that draw the eye in and make the viewer sigh in admiration.
The cuffed-off-the-shoulder look and interesting neckline adds an ethereal flair that ties the entire look together.
Emma Stone
Emma Stone looked naturally elegant, as always, in a pale green Louis Vuitton gown. While the peplum is rather odd, it fits the entire look and draws inspiration from her film Poor Things, and she does have the ability to pull off strange designs, so the look just fits.
Oh, and of course it paired perfectly well with the Oscar she won for her performance in Poor Things.
Florence Pugh
Florence Pugh has set a precedent for always looking fabulous, so, it’s no surprise that her Oscars look stunned. The Oppenheimer and Dune: Part Two star wore a unique silver Del Core gown that gives off some serious other-worldly vibes – and we love it!
The intricate bodice features several dotted gems that slowly fade away toward the simple skirt. The silver snake necklace is the perfect touch.
America Ferrera
Margot Robbie might have packed up the pink gowns, but America Ferrera sure didn’t! The nominee for Best Supporting Actress donned a spectacular pink chainmail Versace gown that oozed Barbiecore. She abstained from everything pink during the press tours of Barbie and chose the Oscars to finally shine in pink.
Honourable mentions
There were just too many wonderful looks from the 96th annual Oscars this year that we just had to include an honorable mentions section.
Michelle Yeoh
Classy and stylish are the only words to describe Michelle Yeoh’s gorgeous silver gown!
Liza Koshy
Liza Koshy wowed in this elaborate red gown with stunning rose straps.
Charlize Theron
Theron oozed style in this silver dress.
Kirsten Dunst
Dunst looked sophisticated in a simple white gown.
John Cena
John Cena pulled a hilarious stunt when presenting the Best Costume Design buck naked – barring donning a pair of Birkenstocks. Before handing over the award for Poor Things, though, he casually donned a golden robe.
