A Good Samaritan who wishes to remain anonymous has donated the funding for a brand new vehicle to Johannesburg’s Midrand SPCA.
A person who considers the health and safety of animals as a top priority, is a person to be treasured. The team from Midrand’s SPCA share the sentiment, as they celebrate their new vehicle for transporting animals in need, gifted by a donor who wishes to remain anonymous.
A post uploaded to SPCA Midrand on Tuesday reads:
“In an unbelievable turn of events, a donor who wished to remain anonymous, has provided funding for a brand new vehicle for our SPCA!”
The SPCA goes on to explain what a remarkable difference the new vehicle has made in transporting animals in need.
“This has been such an amazing blessing for our team who continue to battle without enough transportation to reach all animals in need and we cannot begin to even tell you how much of a difference this vehicle is making!”
While the new vehicle is helping to save and serve the lives of kitties, pooches and parakeets, the Midrand SPCA still requires more vehicles for a full fleet.
However, with the help of the kind-hearted anonymous donor, more animals are able to be safely transported than before.
“While we still do not have a full fleet as yet, this new edition brings us a step closer to reaching our goal of having a full fleet to service the community and animals of Midrand.”
The SPCA team went on to thank Cowan Signs who provided signage for the vehcile, Digisky Tracking team for installing a vehicle tracker free of charge and for continued support to the SPCA on a monthly basis.
“To our anonymous donor, bless you! We cannot begin to put into words how much this means to our SPCA and team! We are eternally grateful for what you have done for our SPCA and the many animals who will benefit from this new vehicle!”
