Queen B finally confirmed that her world tour will kick off in 2023!
The world tour is set to start in Europe and head to North America with 2024 dates in Australia. Social media is all talk after Bey made the announcement on Saturday at the 5th Annual Wearable Art Gala, and largely because of the skyscraping ticket prices.
The first two tickets for Beyoncé’s upcoming RENAISSANCE tour were sold for $150k.
This is about to be a blood bath. This game has been moved to a new level 😭 pic.twitter.com/SRJ9Qu4bwe— Hermaden (@IChoseViolences) October 23, 2022
Fans are sharing thoughts on how the 41-year-old singer is taking ticket prices to a whole new level, with some sharing that the cost has to be a reflection of the type of production we are in for from the Oscar-nominated star.
it’s looking like ima have to get a loan from the bank to see beyoncé live i fear… pic.twitter.com/8gH78ZrZxJ

Ticket costs weren’t the only thing that made jaws drop. Beyoncé stunted on the red carpet draped in the most beautiful Gucci gown with matching Gucci gloves.
This colour palette is all the rage right now especially with its touches of hot pink. Beyoncé serves as an Advisory Board Member for the WACO Theater Center where she auctioned the first tickets for her world tour. Guests made their biddings and the audience shared a laugh when Beyonce’s eldest, Blue Ivy, even raised her hand to make her own bid.
‘This prize is complete with two first-class international United Airlines Polaris tickets to select cities with three-night hotel accommodations at a Marriott property. And, to one of the most sought-after musical performances of all time, two concert tickets to Beyoncé’s Renaissance 2023 tour with a guided backstage tour with Miss Tina!’ the announcement shared just before the bidding started.
All we can say is if the icon herself does not make South Africa a stop on this tour, we will be getting our piggy banks ready for a trip to Europe or Australia.
