What happens in Vegas, stays forever. At least according to the Underwood family…
Recently, Grammy-winning country star Carrie Underwood revealed a Las Vegas souvenir that she, her sisters, and her mom will never forget…and the sweet story that goes along with it!
Underwood has been in Las Vegas with the Underwood family in tow, performing her residency show, “Reflection: The Las Vegas Residency” at the Resorts World Theatre.
After wrapping up her final show on Saturday (until her return in September later this year) Carrie, along with her two sisters and their 74-year-old mom, made a spur-of-the-moment decision to get matching tattoos.
Whose bright idea? It was 74-year-old ‘Mama Carole’ who first proposed matching ink to her daughters!
In a post on Instagram, Carrie writes:
“When your 74-year-old mother asks you and your sisters to get matching tattoos with her in Vegas, the only questions are, ‘what?’ and ‘where?’ I never would’ve thought I’d see the day that Mama Carole would be gettin’ some ink! #WhatHappensInVegas”

The Underwoods all got adorable matching heart tattoos. Carrie got her’s at the top of her foot, while her mom and sisters got theirs on their wrists.
Underworld also thanked the Las Vegas tattoo artist, Darek Riley “for being so sweet to the Underwood girls.”
Would you get a matching tattoo with your mom, or daughter?
