In August earlier this year, former Miss South Africa Demi-Leigh Tebow returned back to local soil for a visit.
In an Instagram post shared yesterday, Demi reflected on the highlight of her trip back to South Africa and the saddest part of leaving to return back to Florida, where she now lives with her husband, Tim.

“I still have so many pictures to share from my trip home, but I’ll start with my family…the best part of visiting & the saddest part of leaving.”
We all know those bittersweet moments of goodbyes and how tough they can be. One last hug from a loved one, for a long while.
Meanwhile, in previous social media posts made by the former miss SA during her visit in August, she announced a partnership between Purposeful People (her initiative) and Ithemba Creations, a US-based brand that ‘offers ethically sourced and produced goods, handcrafted by artisans from all over Southern Africa.’
During her time in SA, Tebow reportedly paid a visit to the artists and crafters working through Purposeful People, who create all the artworks locally before they’re sent off to the US.
In her post announcing the partnership, Demi-Leigh said the following:
“I hope that by putting a spotlight on Purposeful People and brands, I can encourage more buyers to shop more consciously while also inspiring people and brands to choose to love and put people first, too…”
