The couple’s love story began in October 2021, when they met through mutual friends. Their romance blossomed quickly, and by March 2022, Eben announced their engagement with a touching message in his Instagram page.
In February 2023, they exchanged vows in a stunning white wedding ceremony at La Paris Estate in Franschhoek, Western Cape.
Their love story took another joyful turn when Anlia announced her pregnancy shortly after the Springboks’ victory over the All Blacks in the 2023 Rugby World Cup. The couple welcomed their baby girl in January 2023, and earlier this year, they celebrated her first birthday.
Marking the occasion, Anlia penned a poetic tribute to her daughter:
