The campaign, titled ‘Made for Down Under’, marks Bonds’ U.S. debut and features Irwin in its latest ad, surrounded by snakes, spiders, and crocodiles – the life he knows best.
While the brand leaned into Irwin’s legacy as a zookeeper and TV personality (he boasts over 8 million followers on social media, too), fans were quick to note how far the once-bush-hat-wearing teen has come.

Irwin admitted to People that stepping outside his comfort zone was part of the thrill.
“It was a pretty immediate yes,” he said. “I wish I could say I was very suave and cool about the whole thing, but I was like, ‘Yes! Let’s do it!’ Because Bonds in Australia is an absolute icon,” Robert added.
“Also, I’m at this point in my life where I’m trying to do as many different and random exciting things, and if it’s something that makes me a little bit nervous, that I’ve never done before and it’s a bit of an adrenaline rush? That’s what I want to be doing.”
As one fan succinctly put it: “Crikey!”
