South Africa’s beauty queen Zozibini Tunzi—Miss Universe 2019 and former Miss SA—has stepped into a new chapter of love, exchanging vows with her longtime partner, Luthando Mluleki Bolowana.
The couple’s wedding which took place in the Western Cape’s Paarl on Saturday 22 March, has left Mzansi swooning.
Tunzi, the former Miss South Africa who broke records as the longest reigning Miss Universe, shared the first glimpses of her fairytale day on Instagram, posting a carousel of images with the heart-warming caption: “22/03/2025❤️💍 I love you endlessly.. Husband.”

The couple’s dream day was brought to life by celebrity wedding planner Zavion Kotze-Brereton—the creative force behind Demi-Leigh Tebow’s 2020 fairytale wedding.
Tunzi’s breathtaking Phan Huy gown, crafted by the Vietnamese designer beloved by royals and Hollywood stars, became an instant bridal icon.
The Cape Winelands has become a popular wedding destination amongst South African celebrities, with the likes of Natasha Joubert, Zoe Brown and Tatjana Smith all having recently tied the knot in the region.
Zozibini adds to the list, with her fairytale wedding against the backdrop of Paarl at Belair Pavilion.

Yet this is only the beginning. IOL reports that a leaked invitation hints at a second act to their love story: a traditional Xhosa ceremony in Tunzi’s hometown of Tsolo, Eastern Cape.
