Heidi Klum hasn’t donned the ‘Queen of Halloween’ title without reason.
Every year, the German supermodel hosts a huge Halloween bash and always dresses up for the occasion. What sets her apart from everyone else who enjoys Halloween? Heidi put years, two years to be exact, into planning her outlandish Halloween get-up with her longtime costume designer, Mike Marino.
In previous years, Klum has dressed up as The Forbidden Fruit, Jessica Rabbit, the Hindu Goddess Kali, and an elderly version of herself.
Kali, the Hindu Goddess.
Jessica Rabbit.
Heidi Klum as an old version of herself.
A personal favourite, The Forbidden Fruit.
This year, the star really knocked it out of the park with her costume, wriggling her way onto the annual Halloween bash’s red carpet as a rainworm. Yes that’s right, a worm.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Heidi can be seen wriggling around on the red carpet, as she explains her look.
When asked how she came up with the idea to dress as a worm, Heidi responded:
“I just thought of some random thing. Last year I wanted to be a tree, but he (costume designer Mike Marino) thought it was difficult to do, so I kind of started thinking out of the box. Then I thought a rainworm could be cute. That’s something that we all know but don’t really love.”
In a video which Heidi shared to her socials, we get a better idea of the creation of the star’s most show-stopping costume to date, which took two years to create.

We love Heidi for always taking it to the next level with her costumes. There’s no doubt that this year’s edition is her wildest idea yet.
In another Instagram post boasting her costume, Heidi claims she’s hooked on her Halloween look, and we are too!
