It’s easier to get caught up in the world of social media and perceive life as a highlight reel. However, sometimes the real power is in sharing those real ‘behind-the-scenes’ moments that all of us can relate to, whether we have millions of followers or a close-knit few.
Social media star and winner of the 2022 DStv Content Creator Awards, Nadia Jaftha, recently got real on her own Instagram terms – sharing something she felt she needed to get off her chest.

In her video, Nadia shares:
“You never know what someone is going through. I wish I could divulge in my struggles and battles…”
She carries on to say:
“Everyone’s fighting a battle and I’m here to say, just be kind…I felt the need to make this video for anyone watching…I just want to remind you to keep faith.”
Nadia assures her friends and followers not to worry, claiming that she just needed to share the video with those who needed to hear it.
