North West’s 9th birthday party fantastical camping extravaganza with the theme ‘Camp North’. But the kids didn’t arrive just any old way. Kim Air – Kim Kardashian’s very own private jet – was there to get them all to the woods in perfect style. The ride was appropriately decorated to the theme with woodsy decor, plush pillows that looked liked chopped wood and balloons.

The epic experience included loads of exciting activities for North and her girl gang. Kim shared photos and videos of zip lining, wakeboarding and archery all set in an idyllic remote location.

At bedtime each guest was treated to cute custom Camp North pyjamas. According to Harper’s Bazaar, ‘The overnight experience also included beds that were designed to appear as individual tents, complete with a spray-painted “blood” effect and a stuffed deer head fastened to the top of the entrance.’
Kim explains the theme
We must say, the spooky touches do need some explaining. On The Tonight Show, Kim explained that the event’s spooky theme came from North’s love of special effects makeup. ‘She does really good wounds and scars; she’s really good at it,’ Kim gushed about her eldest daughter. ‘She was taking classes, and so she wanted to have a spooky wilderness-themed birthday party. So I took them out camping in the wilderness.’

Famous friends
Of course sister Kourtney Kardashian’s daughter was in attendance at North West’s 9th birthday party. Kourtney’s daughter Penelope, turning 10, has been best pals with her cousin North since day one. North’s other famous friends in attendance included Jessica Simpson’s eldest daughter Maxwell Johnson, 10. Jessica posted a sweet series of photographs and videos of the girls with the caption ‘CAMP NORTH was magic! Thank you @kimkardashian for giving Maxwell the time of her life and takin’ care of my little lady on her first “camp sleep away” trip! I’m comin’ next time!’

Ryan, daughter of renowned music producer Ray Romulus and chief marketing officer at KKW Brands Tracy Romulus was also there. Ryan and North sported matching red and dark braids at the party and seem to be closer than ever. Earlier in the week Tracy posted a series of photos from the gorgeous dinner of Kim’s skincare brand launch. The cover image was an adorable snap of Tracy and Kim with their first born BFFs.
