Coalition, Joburg
Coalition prides itself as an establishment that offers an ‘authentic Neapolitan pizza experience’. Located in the bustling hub of Rosebank, with a second branch in Sandton, this pizza spot comes highly recommended. On the menu you’ll find everything from pizzas with blue cheese and roasted garlic to slow-cooked beef ribs. The pizzas are especially appetising – we’d recommend the Siyani pizza with chorizo, chilli, and cherry tomatoes.
The Mash Tun, Cape Town
The Mash Tun is a hidden gem on the Sir Lowry strip in Woodstock. Here, customers will be treated to a plethora of artisanal cuisine delights. We’d recommend ordering ‘The Porky’. This cheeky pizza starts off with a generous bed of mature mozzarella, which is topped with crispy pulled pork, red onion, and wild rocket – it’s utterly sublime. Plus, the restaurant often hosts sit-down comedy shows, too!
