Former Miss South Africa Claudia Henkel has announced her engagement to her partner, Michael Hoffman.
This news comes five years after her ex-husband, Orin Roesstorff, married another woman before finalising his divorce from Claudia.
The beauty queen, who won the Miss SA title in 2004, shared her excitement over the weekend with a series of photos from a tropical getaway.
The pictures featured a stunning diamond ring and were captioned with, “A million times yes! My soulmate.”

The 41-year-old former Miss SA is clearly overjoyed with her engagement to Michael, a businessman who owns three hair salon franchises.
The engagement happened during a holiday in Mauritius, where Claudia and Michael were accompanied by her children, Skylar and Hunter, from her previous marriage.
Claudia went public with her relationship with Michael in 2023. Reflecting on their romance, she shared a heartfelt post:
“Everyone said you didn’t exist. I was living in a dream world… I waited for you, I dreamt about you, and you exist. My infinity… always and forever.”
Claudia and Orin Roesstorff married in 2015, but their marriage began to unravel shortly after the birth of their twins in 2018. They announced their separation in early 2019.
Despite the challenges, Claudia has shown resilience and strength, focusing on a positive future for herself and her children.

In a 2019 Facebook post, Claudia opened up about her decision to leave her marriage, expressing how she chose happiness and a better life for her twins and herself.
As per The South African, she wrote:
“It took me a long time to want to speak out, and I was ready…to be able to overcome what must be one of the most difficult experiences of my life and to be given an opportunity to share it. This is not a story of self-pity but rather one of absolute resilience, strength, and perseverance.
“You choose the life you want to live, you choose to be happy, you choose to accept a situation or change it! I changed mine, and although it’s hard at times, I know I made the right choice for my twins and for me”.
Claudia met her husband-to-be, Michael, through her cousin, having found love and happiness after challenging times.
