Heidi Klum hasn’t donned the ‘Queen of Halloween’ title without reason.
Every year, the German America’s Got Talent judge hosts a huge Halloween bash, where her over-the-top costume usually takes first prize. This year, the 50-year-old supermodel turned up to the party with ten Cirque du Soleil dancers in tow, collectively dressed as a peacock.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight at her 22nd annual Halloween bash held at Marquee in New York, Klum revealed the inspiration behind her latest costume:
“[I got the inspiration to be a peacock for Halloween after] last year, just because I was this very normal kind of rainworm, I wanted to make something very elaborate and I wanted to make a costume with multiple people.”
“Then I started thinking about what could that be? What thing could I be, what animal, what creature?”
Klum, who went viral for dressing up as an ‘minimalist rainworm’ for Halloween last year, had fans in anticipation of what she would show up as this year.
She broke her silence when she shared a teaser on Instagram earlier this week at an Amazon Live event, dressed as what fans labeled an ‘alien meets red herring’.

At the Amazon event, Klum admitted to always feeling the pressure to one-up her costume from the year before. She went on to add that her costume this year could potentially knock her rainworm look from 2022 out of the park.
Six hours of hair and makeup, and one scarily realistic prosthetic beak later, Klum bested herself once again, and took the cake for best dressed at her spooky season bash.
This morning, she took to Instagram revealing her costume at the red carpet event. Klum, dressed as an elaborate peacock, sported a fancy plume of 10 Cirque du Soleil athletes following her every move. Oh, and her husband, Tom Kaulitz, dressed as her egg.
