Real Housewives of Durban’s JoJo Robinson, who is on track toward being the most tattooed woman in South Africa, recently took to Instagram to clear the air after being criticised for her ink.
The 34-year-old RHOD star posted to Instagram last week, posing in a bikini and revealing her tattoos, with The Cavern Resort’s waterfall as her backdrop.
She captioned her post:
“You’re not really free until you are free from trying to please everybody.. Judgment from others is not your burden to carry..”

According to reports by Citizen, JoJo revealed earlier this year that over 70% of her body is tattooed, and she’s not planning on stopping.
However, sporting a lot of ink comes with its own share of judgemental comments and scrutiny from others, JoJo writes:
“Being heavily tattooed like this, I find myself constantly at the scrutiny of people who know nothing about me.. ”
In true JoJo style, though – she’s not bothered, she’s focused on living her life to the fullest. She continues:
“But at the end of the day.. It’s not my business to care. It is my business to continue to live a life filled with all the magical things I choose to do with it.. as long as I hurt no one in my journey, what does it really matter what I do.”
There’s real value in looking past judgement – you’re able to see the bright side of life even better, she says:
‘Being free of caring is the reason I find rainbows in everything.. because I am HAPPY.. and happiness is what your Percieve it to be.. ”

In an Instagram post answering frequently asked questions about her tattoos, JoJo addresses one question that reads: ‘What are you gonna look like when you’re older.?”
She answers:
“The same as you. just colourful.. old skin is old skin honey, sorry to disappoint.”
