Hold onto your hats, American Horror Story (AHS) fans – the latest season has just announced its newest cast member and it’s a name that has already raised a fair deal of eyebrows.
The reality star, mother of four, and all-around mogul, Kim Kardashian, surprised fans with a teaser trailer posted to her Instagram page on Monday, announcing her role in season 12 of the hit show. The show’s official Instagram page shared the same news.

However, not all fans were thrilled by the news, and many die-hard viewers took to social media to express their dismay over the casting decision. In fact, some have even gone so far as to threaten to boycott the entire season, calling the announcement a “real horror story.”
One fan even exclaimed, “Kim Kardashian starring? Wtf did I just read? That’s the most horrifying part of the entire AHS franchise.”
While some may be disappointed with the decision, it’s worth remembering that American Horror Story has always been about pushing boundaries and challenging our expectations. With its history of casting unexpected actors, from Lady Gaga to Kathy Bates, it’s no surprise that the show’s creators have decided to shake things up once again.
While it may take some getting used to, should we give Kim Kardashian a chance to surprise us with her acting chops?
