According to reports, Letshego Zulu, wife of late racing driver and media personality Gugu Zulu, has summited Mt Kilimanjaro as part of the #Trek4Mandela initiative.

Letshego and her husband joined the annual charity climb last year, and sadly Gugu lost his life before reaching the summit.
The #Trek4Mandela expedition aims to raise funds for the collection of feminine hygiene products for girls in underprivileged areas.
Speaking to woman&home earlier this year, Letshego said she wanted to complete the climb to honour Gugu.
“Reaching the summit was so dear to Gugu that I have to do it for him. I’m not sure I’ll ever get closure, but I know that seeing his name up there on that mountain will help me come pretty close,” she said.

Seasoned climber Sibusiso Vilane led the group again this year. The team were also given a touching surprise – Graca Michel, wife of former president Nelson Mandela, joined the group on their flight to Tanzania.
Letshego embarked on the climb in a very special pair of hiking boots.
“Talk about adding “Personality” to my hiking boots ????. My special friend @samanthadp08 you and your kids are absolute rockstars! Thank You! ???? Blue is Gugz fav colour and we all know he loved the smiley,” she wrote in the caption for the Instagram pic below.
