Lindsay Lohan is back on our TV screens and she’s got us swooning for Christmas. The Freaky Friday star has returned with her Netflix original movie, Falling For Christmas, which marks her first movie appearance since 2007. In true Lohan style, Lindsay understood the assignment and blessed us with a fun-filled festive experience. Let’s get into it.
Falling for Christmas is based on a romantic love story set over the festive holidays, where Lohan’s character has a minor skiing accident and forgets who she is. Out from all the confusion, comes a great story of self-discovery and love.
Linday’s Christmas story teaches us that sometimes we need to unlearn to be able to truly experience something great again.
No it’s not an Oscar-winner, but it is right on the money for a feel-good festive film.
Another highlight of the film is of course, the fashion. Who am I as Fashion Editor not to mention it!? Lohan’s character, Sierra, is hot on the fashion pulse sporting designer extravaganza!

Let’s take a look at some of our favourite looks
This red jumpsuit is just giving all of the drama we need. With its exaggerated sleeves detailed bow on the waist, it’s one bold statement look. Once you’ve seen the film, you’ll understand why this outfit is so fitting for her character. Lindsay is also captured in this outfit for the film’s promotional photograph.
This outfit is not really fit for the South African festive climate, but if I could rock something this chic on Christmas morning, I would. This all-pink look is over the top (OTT), but such a fashion moment. What makes this look iconic is Sierra (Lohan’s character) is wearing the same shade pink on her lips. It’s all about the monochrome, and as they say, the devil’s in the details.
This look has me so nostalgic. It’s like she hopped straight out from a scene in Mean Girls. Lindsay looks like she hasn’t aged a day, and that’s why we love it. Everyone loves a little red dress; it’s romantic and the perfect match for Christmas!
Falling for Christmas is streaming on Netflix now.
