Local internet star Khanyisa Jaceni known for her phenomenal vocal covers recently dropped an isiXhosa rendition of Alicia Keys’ hit, Un-Thinkable (I’m Ready) on TikTok.

Khanyisa’s vocal prowess along with her talent for serenading in her South African home language (isiXhosa), caught the attention of singer/songwriter Alicia Keys herself, who posted a video of her reaction to Jaceni’s spellbinding cover on TikTok.
In Alicia’s reaction video, she harmonises with Khanyisa’s rendition and praises her powerful vocals throughout the video. Keys captioned the post “This is crazzzyyyyyy!!!!!!”
The video has amassed over 850 000 views on TikTok since it was uploaded on 5 October.

Jaceni, who was over the moon after seeing Alicia Keys react to her performance, took to her Instagram stories over the weekend sharing an emotional and proud response after being noticed by the R&B superstar on her birthday!

Jaceni has over 2.9 million followers on TikTok and is an amapiano sensation worldwide, with her face already having graced billboards in New York.
