In light of South Africa’s Springboks making it through the quarter-finals in 2023’s Rugby World Cup, it’s only fitting to want to get to know the supportive women standing at their sides! Meet South Africa’s supportive rugby WAGs:
Rachel Kolisi
Rachel needs no introduction. She’s known as the Springboks’ ‘first lady’ and is the wife of Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, who will be joining French rugby club Racing 92 after the World Cup.
Rachel and Siya’s story began when they crossed paths at a dinner event in Stellenbosch in 2012. They tied the knot four years later in 2016, and subsequently welcomed two adoptive children and two biological children to their family.

Miné De Klerk
Faf and Miné first met in 2015 when mutual friends introduced them. Miné, who is a pharmacist, then invited Faf to attend a wedding and their love blossomed over the years.

In May 2022 Faf proposed to Miné and they were married in October, five months later at La Paris Estate in Franschhoek – a popular venue amongst the Springboks and their WAGs. The couple have been together for six years.
Anlia Etzebeth
Singer and actress Anlia Etzebeth’s romance with her Springbok husband Eben started in 2021, when they first crossed paths in Melkbosstrand, a charming coastal village in Cape Town.
Anlia is a star in her own right, having featured in several local Afrikaans soapies Ridley Scott’s HBO series, Raised by Wolves.

Earlier this year, in February, Eben and Anlia exchanged their vows, the second couple to tie the knot at the picturesque La Paris estate in Franschhoek.
Domenica Viglotti
Damian De Allende has been with his Italian partner Domenica Viglotti for four years. Damian proposed to Domenica in 2022 and the engaged couple share two children together.

The man of the moment, Cheslin Kolbe, is married to Layla Kolbe. The two met ten years ago at the DHL Newlands stadium and have been together ever since. The couple married in 2018 at Webersburg in the Stellenbosch winelands. The pair share three children.
