This innovative new pop-up spot at The Zone@Rosebank is a sunflower filled store made with weary shoppers, foodies and fans of quotable facts in mind.
Boost your knowledge
Visitors get to watch a margarine-making by a Flora Masterblender, who entertains with all sorts of interesting facts about the seeds used to create the oils that go into margarines like Flora, the history of margarine and more.
There are also interactive displays to enjoy and helpful staff on-hand to answer your questions.
Tasty treats
From mini crumpets, quiches and banana breads to soups, chicken pate, salads and scones, the menu offers guests tasty options to satisfy any sweet or savoury craving.
The freshly made popcorn flavored with melted Flora-based drizzles is a moreish snack that you can take along with you after your visit, and there’s also bread on offer for you to enjoy with freshly made margarine.
Get rid of the guilt
If snacking on all of these tasty treats make you feel a bit guilty, you can burn off a few calories while raising money for a good cause.
The Blend Bar experience includes a built-in, retrofitted bicycle with a kilometre tracker.
To celebrate Heart Awareness Month, for every kilometre completed on The Heart Health Cycle, R1 will be donated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation South Africa (HSFSA).

- The Blend Bar will be open from 10am – 6pm from Monday to Saturday and from 10am -5pm on Sundays, until 25 September.
- Entrance is free of charge with margarine tastings and demos on the house.
- Tasting Bar treats are made to order, prices available in store.
