After relocating to Paris earlier this year, the Kolisi family seems to be finding their feet, slowly but surely.
Rachel – wife to Siya and mother of their two kids – has kept fans and followers in South Africa abreast with the family’s lives, routinely sharing updates from their home in Paris and most recently, their support for Siya in the World Cup games, as his last run as the Captain of South Africa’s rugby team, the Springboks.
Siya will be joining Paris’ Racing 92 rugby team after the World Cup until the end of the season in 2026.
The amazing work by the Kolisi family doesn’t stop on the Rugby field, though.
The Kolisi Foundation, which is run by both Rachel and Siya, premiered the very first screening of the documentary about Siya’s story – RISE – in Zwide where Siya grew up just a few months ago.
Now, the documentary has found its way to Paris and will be debuting this week.

Taking to Instagram to share the news, Rachel shared a carousel of images from the screening held in Siya’s hometown in South Africa just a few months ago, writing:
“I can’t believe that a few months ago we were sitting at the very first screening of RISE the Siya Kolisi story in Zwide, the community where Siya grew up…And this week we will have the first screening in the middle of Paris!”
Rachel then goes on to give props to the Kolisi Foundation as well as IHG Hotels & Resorts for their hard work in ensuring the screening in Paris will be a night to remember, ending by thanking everyone who has supported the documentary so far, and adding that there are only a few seats left on offer for the cinema screening of the documentary.
The documentary, RISE, is available to watch on Showmax in South Africa.
