This decision was made to benefit Jane’s Climate PAC. Fonda has been outspoken in her strong beliefs toward climate change action for years, protesting regularly and even being arrested at least five times during those protests. Last month, Jane Fonda announced she had been diagnosed with a “very treatable cancer,” but she assured her fans that she “will not let any of this interfere” with her climate activism.
Fonda opened up publicly on Instagram about her diagnosis and said: ” I feel very lucky” before adding that “cancer is a teacher and I’m paying attention to the lessons it holds for me. One thing it’s shown me already is the importance of community. Of growing and deepening one’s community so that we are not alone. And cancer, along with my age – almost 85- definitely teaches the importance of adapting to new realities.”
As it is Breast Cancer Awareness month, this statement by Jane holds so much relevance and truth to women all over the world.
As for when we can look forward to the reunion, 28 October is now officially Grace & Frankie day.
