The Rio Paralympics came to an end yesterday after an exciting and inspirational 2 weeks. South Africa did well at the games walking away with a grand total of 17 medals.

Gold
Charl du Toit took home 2 gold medals for the men’s 100m and 400m.

Reinhardt Hamman‘s strong arm won gold for the men’s javelin throw.

Hilton Langehoven launched himself all the way to the gold podium for the men’s long jump. Plus, Hilton added a silver medal to his collection for the men’s 200m for the T12 division.
