Singer and actor Brandy Rayana Norwood was hospitalized in a Los Angeles hospital on Tuesday after EMS received a call from her local home. The Grammy award-winning artist allegedly suffered a seizure.
Brandy Rayana Norwood, better known to the world as Brandy has been in the industry since releasing her first self-titled album in 1994 after signing with Atlantic Records.
She then ventured her career into acting where she starred in the hit sitcom currently on Netflix, Moesha. The sitcom ran for about six years and opened up many other acting roles for her, one starring next to Whitney Houston in the Cinderella Movie.
The ‘The Boy is Mine’ singer has achieved many milestones in her career since then, hence this very sudden hospitalization came as a shock for many who know and love her around the world.

Most recent reports reveal that Norwood is recovering in a LA hospital and doctors have declared that she had severe dehydration and low nutrition.
Brandy released a statement on her Instagram story sharing more insight:
“To my beloved fam, friends, and starz thank you for sending love and light my way. I am following doctors’ orders and getting the rest I need due to dehydration and low amounts of nutrition. Thank you for your prayers and support. Grateful for you all, see you soon.”
