South Africa’s Bryoni Govender is flying the South African flag high at the 15th edition of the Miss Supranational pageant. With the contest’s grand finale coming up on Saturday 06 July, the beauty queen revealed her anticipated national costume representing Mzansi.
This is Govender’s second time flying the SA flag high internationally, after representing the nation at the Miss Universe pageant in November last year, in which she secured the nation’s spot in the Top 20.
Govender is now gearing up to represent her nation at the grand finale of Miss Supranational in Poland on Saturday.
Govender, who has been keeping followers abreast with preliminary rounds, looks and behind-the-scenes content on social media, made headlines for her preliminary evaluation look this week.

On Thursday, the beauty queen shared her proudly South African look for the pageant’s national costume round – a full leopard print ensemble designed by SA’s Hollywood Costumes. Makeup by Dyllan Morais and hair by Duchess Of Mane tied the look together.
“Beware the Leopard. These solitary, nocturnal big cats, who favour trees over the bush, are masterful ambush predators. Emerging from the shadows in the early morning, their rosettes glint in the dawn light as they move with unparalleled grace. Their stealth is legendary; their elegance, unmatched,” wrote Govender, in a caption accompanying snaps of her African-inspired look.

“But what truly sets the Leopard apart is its remarkable adaptability – they are the only big cats found in both African savannas and rainforests, as well as the rugged terrain of the Drakensberg mountains. This ability to thrive in diverse environments highlights their resilience and vital role in South Africa’s rich biodiversity.” she wrote.
“Behold the Leopard – a unique and majestic African beast, rightfully earning its revered place among South Africa’s Big Five. 🇿🇦💫”
