On Sunday, South Africa’s ‘Bokke’ went up against France in the World Cup quarter finals, and emerged victorious!
The match had spectators at the edge of their seats, with a close score of 29-28 pushing the Boks through to the semi-finals where they will face their old foe, England, who they beat in 2019.
After an impeccable match on Sunday evening, the Springbok’s wives – who were all in attendance at the game – took to social media to celebrate the victory and their favourite players. Here’s what they said:

Rachel Kolisi, ‘first lady’ of the Springboks took to Instagram to share a snap with Siya, their two kids and a few familiar South African faces, including Lesego Thlabi, who traveled to Paris for the games. In her her post, Rachel wrote:
“😭❤️🇿🇦 Thank you Jesus.”
Siya has in the past credited his success to Rachel’s prayers and cheerleading.

Wife to the man of the moment, Layla Kolbe also took to Instagram to celebrate the Boks’ victory, sharing snaps of a very happy Cheslin and family after the successful match. Layla writes:

The next match for the Bokke will be on Saturday 21 October. If they progress to the finals, Cheslin will take the stadium on his birthday – the 28th of October – to win the Rugby World Cup!
