Springbok fly-half Manie Libbok and his fiance Verna-Lee Arries celebrated their bachelor and bachelorette parties in Cape Town over the weekend.
The couple, who are high school sweethearts, became engaged in July 2023, when Libbok proposed while on a picnic at Klein Roosboom Boutique Winery in Cape Town, as per reports by The South African.

The pair reportedly first met in high school in George, and became high school sweethearts. According to social media posts made by the couple, the pair will be celebrating eight years together this year, and will be marking the start of their marriage.
Over the weekend, the couple celebrated their engagement bash at La Parada in Cape Town, with their closest friends and family in tow. At the event, the couple ‘proposed’ to their wedding party – bridesmaids, groomsmen, etc – with white gift boxes for the ladies, and black for the boys. See:
