The couple first connected seven years ago, when Jonas slid into Turner’s Instagram DM’s after the pair had been following one another on the platform.
They shared their first date at a bar in London and made their first public appearance as a couple at 2016’s MTV EMAs. Less than a year later, they were engaged and eventually, the couple tied the knot with a Vegas wedding in 2019.

According to E! News, Jonas – who filed for divorce one day before the couple announced their split – shared in the filing that they would move on to co-parenting their two daughters – Willa, 3 and “D.J”, 1. The filing further reads:
“A parenting plan should be established which addresses all parenting issues and contains a timesharing schedule providing for frequent and continuing contact with both parties.”
“It is in the best interests of the minor children that the parties have shared parental responsibility.”
Joe goes on to state that both parents have the means to provide for their kids, and should both be contributing towards the support of their two young daughters.
