Over the weekend, Springbok fans, families and champs took to Hollywoodbets King’s Park Stadium for the Boks’ match against Ireland for the Castle Lager Incoming Series.
Springbok WAGs cheered for their champs and kept the kids under control like pro athletes, during their stay in Durban.
The Springboks, having landed back on the rugby field in South Africa, have completed a total of two matches (one win, and one loss) on home grounds this July.
This is the Boks’ first stint playing in South Africa, since winning the Rugby World Cup (RWC) in Paris last year.
In support of their RWC champs, the Springbok WAGs have joined their hubbies travelling across South Africa, as the first matches for the Castle Lager Rugby Championship kick off in SA.
Having travelled from Pretoria to Durban for the first two matches, the Boks (and likely, their broods) are headed to Bloemfontein on 20 July and Johannesburg on 31 August next, ending off in Cape Town on 7 September and Nelspruit on 28 September.
The Bok families, many of whom include young children or newborn babies, have been travelling – both long haul and locally – with their champions and fellow families.
The Kolisi family, who have made their way back to South Africa from their family home in Paris, will be based in the country for a total of eight weeks.

Handre and Marise Pollard, who have flown down from the United Kingdom with their newborn son, Hunter, will also likely be staying for the duration of the championship event.

Bok families that are based locally, including Cheslin Kolbe’s wife and three young children, as well as the Etzebeth’s and their baby daughter, have been travelling across the country to support their champs in the championship tests.
Taking to social media to share glimpses from their time travelling South Africa with the Springboks, Marise Pollard, Layla Kolbe, and Rachel Kolisi share one thing in common – being super moms on a travel-sized schedule.
After the Springbok match against Ireland in Durban over the weekend, Layla Koble took to Instagram writing:
“K, i need a whole spa day after this weekend. My bru……Also, Durban, what is Winter even?”
The carousel of images included a handful of adorable snaps, including one of Springbok champ Siya Kolisi holding the Kolbe’s youngest child and only son, Cayden.

This isn’t the only snap of the Springbok champ bonding with his fellow players’ kids. The captain has been making his hero-rounds – newborn Hunter Pollard received the Springbok stamp (and squeeze) of approval last weekend, too.
Marise Pollard also took to Instagram on Sunday, sharing memories from their time in Durban. Many of the snaps included the couple with their son, and other Springbok WAGs.
One snap shows Marise and Anlia Etzebeth – who both became mothers this year – clutching baby blankets and newborns, with big smiles.

Last weekend, after a victory against Ireland, Springbok ‘first lady’ Rachel Kolisi took to social media to share snaps of the extended Springbok gang reunited, as well as some of her ‘favourite’ South African things – including the classic jaffle brooidtjie.
The post also contains a snap of Siya and Rachel’s daughter, Keziah Kolisi, holding hands with daughters of fellow WAGs, Layla Kolbe and Juan-Ri Mostert.
“A Saturday full of my favourite things. Also the sweetest girl gang reunited,” wrote Kolisi.
