Stretch your mind and learn a little more with the podcasts to listen to now. Plus, they’re great company when you work from home.
Armchair Expert
Even though it started back in 2018, Armchair Expert is still one of the best podcasts to listen to now. Actor Dax Shepherd has had his fair share of ups and downs in his life. Now he wants to ‘celebrate the messiness of being human,’ as he explains it. In this relaxed-style podcast he chats to celebrities, getting into the more vulnerable discussions. Guests open up about the messiness that is life and how it can ultimately lead to better things.
Dear Daughter
If you are a mother then out of all the podcasts to listen to now you’re going to want to pay attention to this one!
This wonderful podcast is hosted by a mother, for mothers – specifically those who have daughters. She covers topics that you want your mini-me to know about, but perhaps don’t have the words for. Namulanta Kombo started the podcast, which stemmed from her idea to write letters to her daughter. Some of the subject matter includes teenage conflict, the birds and the bees, and the struggle with self-doubt.
Philosophy Bites
Do you thrive on conversations about philosophical matters? Do you consider names such as Plato, Socrates and Aristotle as the real celebrities? If you answered yes, we have Philosophy Bites to recommend. Hosts Nigel Warburton and David Edmonds are experts on philosophical topics and give great insight in their podcast. They also interview various philosophers on exciting subjects.
