Yesterday, South African singer, Tyla, stunned in a photoshoot for Harper’s Bazaar and its “All-Stars” spring campaign.
The 22-year-old singer from Johannesburg became an overnight sensation with the release of her single “Water” last year. Since then, she has risen to international acclaim, receiving a Grammy nomination and landing on Spotify’s global top 40.
In October last year, the single hit 67 on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming the first solo song by a South African to appear on the chart since 1968. The popular track continues to make waves, catching the attention of Janet Jackson, Ciara, and Naomi Campbell.
Now, it seems that she is being recognized as a “culture shifter” by Harper’s Bazaar, who recently shared their best looks and pieces for spring in their “The All-Stars” photoshoot, featuring the singer-songwriter.
In an Instagram post showcasing these spring looks, Harper’s Bazaar US shared stunning shots of Tyla in a Dior bralette and briefs.
