Watch a film that packs a punch: ‘Nico’ screening at Goethe-Institut
Nico (2021) is not your average social drama. Starring Sara Fazilat, the film explores the psychological aftermath of a racially motivated attack on a woman with Iranian roots living in Germany. Through its raw realism, the film brings an all-too-familiar conversation into sharper focus: how racism and gender-based violence intersect in daily life.
The screening, hosted by the Goethe-Institut Johannesburg, is free and includes English subtitles.
