Last night, the 2016 Emmy Awards gave TV it’s moment to shine once more. It’s no secret that series are growing in popularity each year and with that the standard of shows keep rising.
This year, the TV show that raised the bar was Game of Thrones. The HBO hit walked away with a statue for Best Drama Series.
Plus, it won the categories Best Directing for a Drama Series and Best Writing for a Drama Series for the most memorable episode of season 6, ‘Battle of the Bastards‘.

Another favourite at the 2016 Emmy Awards was The People vs O.J. Simpson taking home 5 awards for the limited series categories – Best Writing, Best Supporting Actor, Best Actress, Best Actor, Best Limited Series.
