We tagged along to an all-black affair under the Cape Town sun over the weekend, hosted by Pantone Sundays in collaboration with Skyy Vodka. With fashion, beauty, and all the vibes bringing the culture for the day, the occasion was one for the books!

Pantone Sundays is a colour-themed party, where guests come dressed in different shades of the respective colour.
It’s a celebration of the monochrome trend that has been climbing the ranks on the fashion scene worldwide. Everyone dressed in accord is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, and creates a unified experience for all attendees.
The moment the theme for the Pantone event was revealed as ‘black’, social media went crazy.
The event sold out in a matter of minutes, but a lucky few got hold of their tickets at the door. On arrival, we were welcomed with drink tokens that allowed us to ‘make our own cocktails’ in conjunction with our host, Skyy Vodka who guided us on how to put together the perfect cocktail.
The mother city was showing off with its weather, as the sun was perfectly accompanied by table mountain as our backdrop for the day.

The event was attended by number of people from all walks, from influencers to your everyday folk. A common thread that ran through all guests was a love for fashion, and a shared appreciation for all things black.
